Prayer for February 19, 2021

O Lord our God, there are so many right now who are suffering.  May they feel your presence during these challenging times. Support those who are working so hard to make things better for people in need, those working to restore power, clean roads, teachers and all the health care workers.  Protect them as they do their work. May we who are safe, look to ways to support those in need.  Help us to learn from what has happened so that we can better prepare for the challenging events that seem to be more frequent.  May we have patience with each other and find ways to express our love for our neighbors.  Help us to find hope this day. Let us build upon that hope as we continue to journey through these challenging times.  All this we ask in your name.  Amen.
