Prayer for April 18, 2021

O Lord our God, this is a day that is set aside for worship and refreshment.  Too often we fill it with other things.  Help us to let this day recharge our batteries to do the work that you would have us do.  Let us release those things that seem to be holding us back from our personal mission.  May we be able to let go of the things for which we have asked forgiveness and truly live as a people forgiven, healed, renewed and go out into the world ready to share your love and with those we meet.  Give us the strength to fight the temptations that most challenge us.  Help us to feel your presence when those challenges arise.  All this we ask in your most Holy Name.  Amen
