Prayer for May 1, 2021

Creator God, help us to see beauty in the world around us this day.  As we begin a month that is budding with new life, help us to honor the gift that this time of year gives us.  May those who are finishing school years, moving toward graduation and about to begin new journeys recognize the gift that this time gives them.  Help us to celebrate their accomplishments, and encourage them to finish this race so that they can be ready for the next one.  May all of us take the time to enjoy living in the moment in which we find ourselves even as we are excited about what is ahead.  Be with us this day and always, all this we ask in the name of God.  Amen
