Prayer for May 6, 2021

Loving God, as we start this day, may it begin with hope.  As it continues may we lift up those we encounter.  Let us be examples of love and compassion today.  Help us find opportunities to serve others.  When we find ourselves in anxious situations help us remain calm and not respond in anger.  Be with those who are struggling today and help them to feel your presence.  Let us end this day satisfied that we have lived it to the best of our abilities.  And may your blessing be upon us now and always.  Amen
