Patient God, thank you for all the many gifts you provide. We are grateful for this day and hope to live it following your desire that our joy might be complete. Help us when the plans and expectations of this day are interrupted by life. May we see those interruptions as opportunities to see the world in a different way. Allow us the chance to see the beauty of your creation this day and to enjoy the company of those who we are lucky enough to spend time with today. Help us to celebrate all this day has to offer.
