Prayer for June 5, 2021

Ever-present God, let me be as present to those around me as you are to me.  May I not be distracted by things that mean little while missing out on those that are important.  There are certain to be times when I am called to do something to make those around me have a better day.  Let me be aware of those times.  It is so easy when we have days without plans to be so selfish about that freedom, that we miss out on so many incredible opportunities to be an important presence in the lives of those we are blessed to meet today.  Let us enjoy the day you are giving us and be a part of making that day special to those we meet today.  All this we ask in your glorious name.  Amen
