Prayer for June 29, 2021

Loving God, help us this day to be thankful for all the many little gifts we experience. May we see the beauty of the created world and in the people we meet.  Allow us the chance to not be distracted by the evils that may challenge our ability to see what you would have us see.  May we respond in love to the times when the world might expect us to become angry.  Help us when we are in places of discomfort and anxiety to overcome those times by looking for the good in the world around us.  May we find hope in times of despair and be beacons of hope for others.  And may the peace of God that passes all understanding fill us this day and always.  Amen.
