Prayer for September 2, 2021

We ask for your healing grace to fill us O God.  There are many people who are dealing with illnesses and treatments other than COVID that are again being postponed because of how full our hospitals are and they may be at greater risk of infection because of the pandemic.  Be with them and those who care for them as the normally overwhelming anxiety that comes from what they are dealing with is compounded by the reality of what we are dealing with today.  Give them comfort and healing.  May we look to ways that we can minimize the challenges that this time brings to all of us.  Let us express our love in action.  Amen
