Prayer for September 14, 2021

Thank you God for the gift of new people and experiences.  There is nothing like the wonder of meeting someone new.  May we treat that opportunity for what it truly is, the possibility to have someone new in our lives that becomes part of our family.  May we also cherish the gift of learning something new.  The excitement of those epiphanies in our lives is perhaps one of your greatest gifts you have given us.  May this day be filled with both and may we treat them with the honor they deserve.  All this we ask in the name of a God who gave us the desire to learn new things and be in community with one another. Amen
