Prayer for December 17, 2021

In an otherwise easy year, this time of year is challenging for many, loving God. Let those who are struggling and feeling isolated find that they are loved and not alone. May we who love them be the presence they need to feel the love that is beyond their understanding. Allow us to be the example of unconditional love when they see themselves as unworthy and open their eyes to see us as forgiving. Let them know how we see them as beloved. When we are challenged to be that presence, help us to know that sometimes we are called to be nothing more than there for those we love. Give us all a sense of your grace during this season. Amen
