Prayer for December 28, 2021

May we live this day and everyday differently than the way that the world might expect, O God. Help us to be the person that says, “Good Morning,” and “You First” when we could be selfish. Give us patience when we have to wait in line, have to park further away than we want and the line we chose at the store seems to be the one where delays happen. May we be thankful that we have so much more than many in the world and see the times when we are asked to wait as opportunities to reflect on the many gifts you have given us. Allow this day to be one where we learn about ourselves in new and exciting ways. May we live this day in honor of you, O God. Amen
