Prayer for April 11, 2022

As we begin this Holy Week having just experienced the joy and excitement of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, may we take these next few days to revel in what that moment must have been like to see that time. May we be aware of those times when we have been sure of the presence of God among us, and also realistic in the times when we like so many before us, fall from who you would have us be. Let us take this week that gives us so many opportunities to experience the fullness of what Christ did for us, and what God has wanted us to become from the beginning and understand that we are not alone and are among the great cloud of witnesses that have lived their best lives. May we be filled with your blessing today and always. Amen
