Twenty-seven years ago today, Heather and I stood in the Cathedral of St Paul in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and said to each other, “ I plight thee my troth.” I can honestly say that while many days were challenging, I have become more and more in love with my wife each day. The blessings and challenges we have faced have truly lived into the words, “for better, for worse, in richer and poorer.” Thank you, O God, for the blessings you have given us. We are especially grateful for Abby and Audrey our beautiful and incredible daughters. You have blessed us as well with children who are not our own, and loved as if they were ours. We have been blessed to have been the part of many young peoples lives for a short time as teachers, mentors and coaches. They have been a blessing to us and our marriage would not have been the same were it not for them. Thank you, Jesus, for the past twenty-seven years and may the years ahead be as wonderful and as exciting as what you have given us already. Amen.
Congratulations Heather and Grant. I’m very happy for both of you and your girls. Mat the Lord continue to pour out His blessings upon you and your ministries. I’m thankful for your time in Aiken. I really miss you. Ann
