Prayer for November 2, 2022

May love prevail, O God. Right now there is so much hatred in the world, help us to stand up against the distrust by sharing our compassion. May we have empathy for those who are struggling and seek to treat others as chosen family. Help us to respond in ways that express our desire for community against he attempts by so many to divide us. May we value the strangers in our midst and work to invite them to journey along with us as we all attempt to make this world more in the image of the world you intend for us. May the peace of God that passes understanding guide us this and everyday. Amen
