Prayer for December 19, 2022

Loving God, we live in a very divided world. Help us to focus on those things upon which we can agree. Let us look for ways to lift up the needy and feed the hungry. We know that poverty exists and that we have the wherewithal to help them move out of poverty. We know that there are people in need of mental health care and we have the ability to support changes in how we provide for them. Let us encourage the leaders of government and industry to work toward making the world a better place. May we provide for others as we are able and share the love for our neighbor to which we have been called. Amen
