Prayers for January 20. 2023

Thank you God, for being patient with us. We know that you often place us where we have the most potential, yet we take our time to respond. Thinking about how many of the greatest heroes of the Bible were much older when they responded to your call (Abraham and Noah come to mind) it makes me wonder what I may be called to do as I get older. I pray that when those times come (as I believe they are many) I will step out in faith knowing that the journey I have already taken has been both challenging and wonderful. May I live enough in the present to be aware of when I face decisions and look to your Holy Spirit to guide me at those times. Amen
